“Un Mondo a Parte“, by Riccardo Milani (Come un gatto in tangenziale), explores the story of Michele (Antonio Albanese), a school teacher that decides to move from Rome to a small town in the mountains of Abruzzo. There, he will fight to keep the town’s school open, while learning the ways of this new and particular environment. The movie, distributed by Medusa Film, premiered on the 28 March 2024 in italian theaters.
Proxima Milano contributed as VFX partner working on more than 75 shots to recreate the winter atmosphere, by adding through compositing the snow – a key element for the story.
