Role Overview

The Mid/Senior VFX Generalist will play a critical role in a wide range of VFX tasks, including modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, look development, and compositing. This position requires a high level of versatility and proficiency in multiple areas of digital production, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and solve complex visual problems.

Main Responsibilities

• Work across various projects to create high-quality visual effects that align with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the project.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless integration of VFX into projects.
• Utilize a variety of skills including 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and compositing to enhance visual storytelling.
• Contribute to the creative process through original ideas and inspiration.
• Participate in the development of efficient techniques to streamline VFX processes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years experience in a VFX role within the film, television, or a similar industry.
• Strong proficiency in Nuke, or similar 3D and compositing software.
• Extensive knowledge of the full VFX pipeline from pre-production to post-production.
• Demonstrated ability to tackle a variety of challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong artistic sense with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong written and spoken English skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Visual Effects, Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
• Additional skills in scripting or programming for automation.
