Miss Fallaci” is an Italian television series that delves into the early career of the renowned journalist Oriana Fallaci. Set in the late 1950s, the series portrays a young Fallaci, played by Miriam Leone, as she transitions from being known as “the girl from the movies” to a formidable reporter for the Italian weekly magazine “L’Europeo“. During this period, she embarks on her inaugural journey to the United States, seizing the opportunity to engage with prominent figures and offering a candid, often ironic, depiction of American society and the allure of Hollywood.

The narrative also explores her intense and tumultuous relationship with fellow journalist Alfredo Pieroni, a bond that profoundly influences her personal and professional trajectory. This eight-episode series is a collaboration between Paramount Television International Studios and Minerva Pictures, in association with RedString.

Notably, “Miss Fallaci” stands as one of Paramount+’s inaugural original productions in Italy, underscoring the platform’s commitment to delivering compelling local content. The series combines historical authenticity with a gripping narrative, bringing to life the formative years of one of the 20th century’s most influential and controversial journalists.
