“The Count of Monte Cristo” is a grand-scale adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ timeless masterpiece, brought to life through an international co-production by Palomar, DEMD Productions, in collaboration with Rai Fiction, France Télévisions, Mediawan Rights, and Entourage Ventures.

Directed by the visionary Bille August, with stunning cinematography by Sebastian Blenkov, the series captures the intrigue, drama, and revenge of Edmond Dantès in a visually captivating and emotionally gripping narrative.

Proxima Milano contributed as VFX partner working on more then 115 shots, and through the creation of 3D assets of the main locations (Marseille, Monte Cristo Island) and narrative elements of the story.
