The choral cinematographic work, born from the call called Instant Corona, sent by MIR Cinematografica, AIR3 Associazione Italiana Directors and Milano Film Festival in collaboration with Proxima Milano, Operà Music and NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti previously the first lockdown, is online for a month.
Shooting began on February 23rd, 2020 and the images were captured until May 10th, with the first week of the Phase 2, in which production activities were gradually restarted and the streets of the city have begun to be repopulated with life and timid sociality.
For 71′ the multi-voiced story unfolds that returns a mosaic of gazes and a multiple vision of Milan at the time of the first wave of Coronavirus. Different views of the 57 directors and filmmakers who participated in the creation of the feature film come together in a single story and they are not limited to mere observation of the emergency, but go beyond the surface of things, offering personal readings of this new reality that we are called to face up, giving a new meaning to the events in their very becoming.
An episode of historical and global significance, lived in isolation, returns to have the character of a collective experience thanks to the cinema which, while including even tragic moments, returns a representation that defeats the sense of loneliness.
